Happy Birthday Christian!

Today was Christians Birthday!! I can't believe he is already 11. It's amazing how fast they grow up! He went on his first week long Boy Scout camp last week and had a blast. He thinks he knows what LOVE is, he has a girl he likes but she is moving to Texas in two day's, they know they are too young to be Boyfriend and Girlfriend but it's still sweet that he thinks she's the cream of the crop! You never know, they may meet up again somewhere down the road after college and a mission!! He is such a blessing in our lives and amazes us everyday with his knowledge of the gospel and knowing what is right and wrong. He really is a great kid and a great example to our Family and his Friends, We would be lost without him. Kaylie wouldn't have anyone to pick on her and Camren looks up to him sooo much! We Love You Christian and wouldn't trade you for anything in this world!! We hope you had a Happy Birthday!! Here are some pictures of his not so fantastic Birthday party!!

No real news :(

Well, Pete went to work on Monday and when he got home I was a little frustrated. You see he hasn't re-enlisted yet and his original enlistment is up November 19th of this year. He didn't want to re-enlist unless he knew we were going to be going somewhere else (being at a special ops base has be very stressful, with the deployments and the way his shop is ran, we just need to have a change of pace) So needless to say if he didn't get orders to somewhere else he was not going to re-enlist and was going to go to full time guard. OK so because he hasn't signed re-enlistment paper work we can't get his actual orders in hand and until you have your actual orders in hand you can't schedule anything for moving. So he has to go to a "Mandatory" briefing that is all filled up until July 10th and then he can't sign his re-enlistment paperwork until July 22nd. Then after that we can get his orders and make our plans for moving. The frustrating thing is that we HAVE to be to our new base no later then August 31st. Well for me a month is not much time, for those of you who are not military there is a lot of briefings and can I say "crap" that you have to do to move. AAAGGGGHHHH. Some day's I hate the Military! But on a good note I got an e-mail and there was this quote in it:

"The Lord gives us a spirit of hope and a feeling of comfort and confidence that we can overcome the obstacles we face. He has shown the way to gain strength during our struggles. With His assistance, we have the ability to succeed. Listen to His words of counsel and comfort: “Fear not, little children, for you are mine, and I have overcome the world and none of them that my Father hath given me shall be lost."

So I am going to put my Faith and Trust in the Lord that this is where our lives are supposed to be going and thing's will work out for us no matter how stressful it may seem! And apparently I am in need of more strengthening!

So this is where we're at, no definite plans, but we hope to be leaving here in enough time that we can stay a week in Utah on our way through to visit our Family and Friends.

We're Moving!!

So here is our first post! I know it's about time huh? I'm having a hard time figuring out how to work this thing. I know you don't have to be a genius but if anyone would like to help me out that would be appreciated.
Well about a week and a half ago, Peter got orders to McChord AFB in Washington state. It's near Tacoma. We are supposed to report I think before August 31st. So I'm not sure what all our plans are going to be, how soon we will be leaving here. But I do know that we will be taking a few days on our way there to stop and see family & hopefully some friends in Utah. When I get the information on when we'll be there I'll let everyone know. We are excited about moving, we have been here in Florida for 5 years, but a little nervous too! This is our first PCS and we aren't sure how it's all goes. When we get there, there isn't going to be any housing on base so we will have to live off base for a while and that means I'm going to have to go to work to help make the rent since it's not cheap out there. I guess it's a good thing I got my Cosmetology license! Hopefully the schools will be as good out there as they are here, that is one of the hardest thing's for me about this move, Christian has been in an awesome school for the last three years and we had just gotten Kaylie and Camren in for this next year. That's the way the military works though, as soon as you start to get comfortable or a little settled in your life they up and move you! This is going to be a good thing and we really are excited to be going to a new place and seeing new thing's. Well that's all for now, I'll update when I get more info.
